Cure Winter Blahs by Plotting Garage Sale
Success!
Work on Next Summer's Garage Sale Now!
We know that garage sale hosts have $1,000 profit garage sales,
but these sales don't happen by accident. A high profit garage
sale takes great preparation, and what better time than now to
start it! With the snow swirling and wind howling, you can be
sorting, labeling, and acquiring stock at your favorite
haunting( excuse me) hunting places! What places you may ask?
You can go to indoor flea markets, estate sales that are
advertised in the newspaper, dollar stores, discount stores,
and auction houses. You can even check out the "articles for
sale" on community bulletin boards.
I recently visited two church "good will" shops and found 5
broken wrist watches-all for $1.00. One of the them was a
General Electric commemorative watch and one was a Mini Mouse.
Even though they didn't work, I knew some collector would pay a
couple of dollars for them. There are all kinds of treasures
waiting to be discovered in "good will" shops like these.
Garage Sale Heaven at the Salvation Army
The Salvation Army is another place to find good items for your
garage sale table. Be diligent. It took two visits before I
discovered a much sought after professional wrestling doll in
its original package. Okay, these were female wrestlers and
there were a half dozen of them which I grabbed!
I was always surprised to see the number of fancy cars in the
parking lot. It is amazing how many people love a bargain! And
it's not just the have nots!
No, they were not big sellers, but I did get about $10.00 each
for them and I paid only $2.00 each. The buyers had plans of
selling them on Ebay. I should add that this is a great idea
for work at home moms.
Big garage sale profits come from big inventories! You have to
get out there and start searching for bargains if you are to
have a big inventory.Winter is the best time of year to prepare
for hosting the mother of all garage sales with all the
inventory needed to drive a garage sale hunter to distraction.
Buy, save, and tag as many items as you can during the short
days of winter to be ready for the dog days of summer-GARAGE
SALE SEASON! If you accomplish just a few things every week,
you will have enough inventory to tantalize the most
discriminating garage sale enthusiast.
Here is a way you can beat the winter doldrums by preparing
for your next garage sale whether it be in the spring or
summer. An organized sale means more sales and more profits for
you!
